What I can tell is that the activeCollab dev team is busy working on aC3, and a lot of us developers are busy reporting bugs / enhancements. And that the end of the year is not yet arrived, so let’s give them a few more days :-)

aC 3 is surely a radical departure from 2.3 in terms of UI and underlying structure. And we understand people may take time to transition.

Will certainly continue to support 2.3 versions of our products for a period that works for clients. We will wait for aC 3 to arrive, ask customers about their transition plans and will decide on 2.3 branch support based on those inputs. And it can very well be a year.

I have given up waiting for V3, so am actively upgrading and investing in our system to be the best for us, for at least another year.

From the looks for screenshots I have seen, AC3 is a radical departure from 2.3 and therefore, will need time to bed in the bugs and usability issues. I have concern for our customers engagement (they’re not really technical users), so having got them this far, I am suspicious about rushing into AC3 quickly and will need time (months) to manage their transitions.

Nick
