Hi Robert,
Apologies for the trouble. There is no acHacks folder in the latest Planning module. I am updating our install documentation. These hacks are already included in the for-upload folder for your convenience.
When you FTP upload the files, and activeCollab crashes, what errors do you get? Please ensure you upload a version that matches your activeCollab version. So if you are using AC 2.3.2, use the "for-upload" folder. If you are using a version prior to that, but above AC 2.1.4, please use the "for-upload-2.1.4+" folder.
Feel free to contact us at support at appsmagnet dot com if you face any further problems.

My company is using activeCollab and we purchased the planning module. I'm trying to install it and I' sorry to say that I'm a little confused. I see no acHacks file in the for-uploads directory. Also, when I copy the 3 directories (activecollab, config, and public) to the server - overwriting the existing folders as I think I'm being instructed to do, activecollab crashes. I'm sure that I'm missing something obvious???

Just looking to be put in the right direction.

The current version of Planning module is version 1.5.1. And it does support AC 2.3.2. As a matter of fact, that's our primary testing version now.

You may wait for a week. We have a new release coming.

Though, even if you purchase today, you will get updates for free for a full year.
