Tickets Plus 1.5.7 released

We released Tickets Plus 1.5.7 yesterday. If you had a problem with tickets not being created with incoming mail or estimate values, this release will fix it.

Here’s the change log from 1.5.6 and 1.5.7:

  • Creating tickets from incoming mail was broken. Fixed.
  • Estimate value did not consider minutes. Fixed.
  • Assignees were removed if status changed from mass-update
  • Default status not set when creating a ticket from Planning module
  • Setting assignee to –None– using mass update did not work correctly

Here’s a summary of updates in these versions.

acHack – Gravatar (v1.3.2)

  • activeCollab v2.3.5 compatibility version.

acHack – Incremental Backup (v2.2)

  • Takes database backup of only activeCollab tables.
  • Fixed: (Backup returned these errors: Array) email notification issue.

Hide People module (v1.1)

  • Removes “Who Is Online” and “People On This Project” blocks from dashboards.

Tickets Plus module (v1.5.5)

  • Fixed: Send email notification twice on ticket completion
  • Fixed: Attachments are not visible for tickets created using Public Submit
  • Fixed: UI fix for filter drop downs in Tickets list

Time Reports Plus module (v1.3.3)

  • Fixed: Time records not grouped correctly by billing status (Billable, Non Billable, Billed etc.)
  • Fixed: Increased memory limits while generating time reports

Tickets Plus 1.5.4 Released

We just released Tickets Plus 1.5.4. This is a small bug fix release.

Fixes:

  • “Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated” in PHP 5.3. Fixed. Thanks to Philip for reporting this issue.
  • Display pagination header twice in aC 2.3.4. Fixed. Thanks to Jutin, csBox for reporting this issue.

Wanted to let everyone know that all our products are now compatible with activeCollab 2.3.4.

We updated four products for compatibility, the others will work without a change.

Products we’ve updated:

  • Planning Module (version 1.7.3)
  • Tickets Plus Module (version 1.5.3 – this also adds useful new features)
  • Confidential Items Module (version 1.3.2)
  • acHack – Gravatar (version 1.3.1)

All other products are already compatible with activeCollab 2.3.4

Planning Module v1.7.3

  • activeCollab v2.3.4 compatibility version
  • Items created by people who can’t see private objects will be normal now

Tickets Plus Module v1.5.3

Enhancements:

  • activeCollab v2.3.4 compatibility added
  • Can now filter tickets based on user – creator, assignee, responsible. (thanks to Dale Daguro of mercola.com for sponsoring initial work on this)
  • Quickly update status and responsible person while adding a comment
  • Now you can set the default sorting option for tickets list (thanks for your suggestion Damien)

Fixes:

  • Status update notification email no longer goes to user who’s making the change
  • Even if workflow status was not changed during an edit operation, it was showing in Recent Activities. Fixed.

Confidential Items Module v1.3.2

Today, we released minor updates to Planning, Reports and Time Reports Plus modules.

Here’s what has changed:

Planning Module

Fixed the unrecognized tag item_priority issue in printing the plan.

Reports Module

Will install even if Tickets Master Categories don’t exist.

Time Reports Plus Module

  • Fixed Mass update required page reload to come back to Time Reports Plus
  • Fix for incorrect user / project URL in time records

Planning Module 1.3 released – fixes some annoying bugs and adds CSV export

If you’ve been bugged by a bunch of email notifications coming your way when you save project plans with Planning module, we finally have a solution.
We are releasing Planning Module 1.3 today. This is a minor upgrade and bug fix release. Thanks to all users for their contributions and comments (especially bug reports!)

Enhancements:

  • Export the plan as a CSV / XML file
  • Permissions can now be managed using Planning section in AC Admin
  • Enable Save only if plan was changed.
  • Can now open Planning module for a completed / paused project too

Bug Fixes:

  • Notifications being sent on item reassignments (NOTE: Required update to a core AC file in “resources” module.)
  • Fixes to avoid duplication of project items.
  • Checklists & Pages show correctly in Calendar view now
  • Ensured Activity Logs are created correctly. (Needed for Reports module)
  • Dragging multiple items plan showed error in some cases – fixed
  • Changing priority of tasks did not save

Planning Module 1.2.1 – enhancements and bug fix release available

We received dozens of fan mails and thank-you notes after the last major Planning Module upgrade – version 1.2. We are thrilled by customer feedback and glad that the module is really helping people plan their projects 5 times (or more) faster! Some customers even said that they bought activeCollab because of Planning module! That makes us proud!

At the same time, we received bug reports and tweak requests. And here comes another release of Planning Module! It adds few features and fixes some annoyances. We recommend you upgrade.

BTW, if you don’t like to keep upgrading modules and activeCollab yourself, we offer an annual upgrade and housekeeping service – acGarage.

Here are the changes in this version.

Enhancements

  • Updated error handling during server problems. Session time out, PHP errors and others are treated distinctly now.
  • Increased the width of “Recover Project” message for readability. (thanks to Jani Kiviranta)
  • Now stripping invalid characters from plan before XML handling. (thanks to Brian and others)

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed number of issues with notification sending. (thanks to Randy, Alexey and others)
  • Start and Due dates now span full days in Gantt chart. (thanks to Franklau for reporting this)
  • Top menu toggle button labels can now be translated. (thanks to Jani Kiviranta)
  • IE7/8 gave “HTTP Request Error” over HTTPS (thanks to Chris)
  • Updated upgrade instructions. (thanks to Anthony for pointing to confusion)

The last version (1.2) was a significant upgrade and added support for multiple projects on Gantt chart, calendar for start/due dates in Outline, an administration panel, branding removal option and many other features. Click here to review release notes of version 1.2.

How to Upgrade?

You can always download the latest version of Planning Module for activeCollab using the download link in your purchase confirmation email. If you can not find your purchase confirmation email send us the email address with which you purchased the module.We will resend the email with download link.

Upgrading is done by uninstalling the module and then installing it. First go to activeCollab Administration – Modules. Uninstall current Planning module. Then upload new version files to your server. Go back to activeCollab Administration and install Planning module. That’s all!

acGarage customers have already been upgraded with this latest release!
